Tim O’Callaghan brings a passion to the timber industry that is rarely seen and is shown through his extensive product knowledge and trustworthy service.
Tim’s hunger in the timber industry was sparked in the early 1990’s and soon led him down numerous avenues in relation to renovating, building and furniture design through to the complete manufacturing and processing requirements to provide a range of quality timber products to his consumers through Tim’s Timber.
Tim’s Timber is a proud Australian owned and family operated business, and was founded from the desire to see often unwanted timber made into something beautiful, functional, long lasting and above all sustainable.
Over the years Tim has acquired a multitude of timber sourced from all over Australia and has, up until recently, delivered his operations out of Booleroo Centre, in the Southern Flinders Rangers of South Australia.
In 2017 Tim’s Timber relocated to a 10 acre yard at St Kilda in Bolivar, South Australia, as Tim saw the opportunity to salvage thousands of tonnes of Red Gum from The Northern Connector Road Development before it was ground into mulch.
This move has since allowed Tim to bring Tim’s Timber directly to the Adelaide market and has provided the capacity for clients to come personally to site to view and choose the timber products specifically required for their next project.

Branching out into the Adelaide timber market has also brought with it some changes that Tim will start to implement over the coming months to allow him to provide cheaper prices to his customers due to lower overheads. The future of Tim’s Timber will evolve to provide functional packs of timber suitable for a range of functions for the DIY furniture maker right through to major building projects.
